Run by Radhika Kamaraj and her husband Thiru, who hail from Madurai, The Biryani Centre takes a no-shortcuts approach — no frozen products, no preservatives, and limited oil and salt. It’s been reviewed by Andy Hayler and voted Best Biryani by New Malden locals, which says something given the competition on Burlington Road. A proper family-run South Indian spot where the cooking is taken seriously and the biryani is the clear headline act.
