Richmond Park
London's largest Royal Park with around 600 free-roaming deer, woodland, grassland, and ponds.
London’s largest Royal Park at 2,500 acres, Richmond Park is home to around 600 free-roaming red and fallow deer. The landscape is a mix of ancient woodland, open grassland, and ponds — remarkably wild for somewhere inside the M25. Cyclists use the Tamsin Trail perimeter loop, runners train on the varied terrain, and families come for the Isabella Plantation’s azalea gardens in spring. The Kingston Gate entrance is the closest access point from Kingston town centre.
