The headline attraction is Jurassic Encounter Adventure Golf, an 18-hole course featuring 50 animatronic dinosaurs, waterfalls, and caves. It regularly appears on “best crazy golf in London” lists, and the scale of it — the dinosaurs move and roar, the waterfalls are real — puts it in a different category from your average mini golf. The critical caveat: Jurassic Encounter is seasonal, running May to October only. The driving range and pro shop operate year-round.

Toptracer Technology

Every one of the 60 driving range bays has Toptracer ball-tracking technology. For the uninitiated: screens on every bay track your ball flight in real time, letting you play virtual courses, compete in points games, and see shot data (distance, speed, trajectory). It transforms the driving range from a solo practice routine into something competitive and social — particularly popular with groups and teenagers.

On-site you’ll find one of the largest American Golf shops in Surrey, plus a Costa Coffee. Junior coaching comes from 8 PGA-qualified instructors. Compared to Sandown Park Golf Centre, World of Golf is entertainment and spectacle — Sandown is learning and progression. If your priority is the wow factor (dinosaurs, Toptracer games, a big day out), this is the one.
