Agra Tandoori has been a fixture on Ewell Road since the early 1980s, and the coal-fired clay oven is still doing the heavy lifting — tandoori dishes come out with that proper charred edge you don’t get from a standard kitchen setup. The decor hasn’t changed much either, with a retro 70s feel that’s either charmingly nostalgic or due for an update depending on your taste. It’s a solid local Indian for takeaway or a no-fuss sit-down dinner, with halal options and a reasonable vegetarian selection.
